"We belong to the ground. It is our power and we must stay close to it or maybe we will get lost." is a quote from Narritjin Maymuru, an Aborigine. His quote serves as a reminder of the inter-relateness and dependence that all humans have with nature. Never before have these words become more important. It is my hope that my photos will be a reminder of the precious beauty that surrounds us and of our primal duty to be noble stewards of the ground we walk upond each day.
